Shipping policy - Retail
(Wholesale detailed below)

All retail orders are processed within 1 to 2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped. 

For custom orders including items like custom designed cards we cannot specify a processing time as each order is unique.

Processing times between the 25th December and 2nd of January may have significant delays.

Domestic Shipping Rates and Estimates

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. Estimated times frames are indicated on each shipping option. 

There is free shipping in NZ for orders over $100.

There is free shipping in the UK for orders over £50.

Order Pickup

You can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup in Queenstown, NZ. After placing your order and selecting local pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up within 1 business day, normally within 12 hours. We will send you an email when your order is ready along with instructions. 

Our in-store pickup hours are at any time on any day of the week as it is from our mailbox on the street. Please have your order confirmation email with you when you come as for certain orders we may need to check.

International Shipping

We offer international shipping to most countries in the world, if you do not see your desired shipping destination contact us and we can try find a solution to get the product you wish to order delivered to you. 

For calculated shipping rates: Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. Delivery times for some countries are indicated on the shipping rates at checkout. For all other country delivery times expect between 8 - 20 days. 

Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. Little Difference is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer.

How do I check the status of my order?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available. 

If you choose a Regular Post shipping option this will not have any tracking information.

If you haven’t received your order within 5 working days for domestic orders and 10 working days for international orders of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at orders@littledifference.org with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.


Refunds, returns, and exchanges

Summarize your return policy here and link out to your full return policy page if you have one. 

We accept returns up to 30 days after delivery, if the item is unused and in its original condition, and we will refund the full order amount minus the shipping costs for the return. 

In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at hello@littledifference.org with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.

If an order is undelivered and returned to sender due to the customer entering a shipping address that is incorrect then the customer will need to pay for the shipping to have it resent with a correct address.

Regular wholesale orders are processed within 5 - 10 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after you receive your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped. 

For custom orders including items like custom designed cards we cannot specify a processing time as each order is unique.

Please note that for wholesale your items may be printed to order so this takes some time.

Processing times between the 25th December and 2nd of January may have significant delays.

Where we make our products

We have 2 production hubs where our products are made;

  • Auckland, Aotearoa/NZ
  • Kent, England

All orders with a NZ shipping address are service by the Auckland production and orders with a shipping address in the rest of the world is serviced by the Kent England production.


Shipping Rates and Estimates

For calculated shipping rates: Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. If you by pass the checkout by paying on account then you will not see the shipping as you do at checkout, in which case you can see the current shipping rates here or on the announcement bar at the top of the website on most pages. Instead you can see this in the notification bar at the top of the website.

Estimated times frames are indicated on each shipping option.

Shipping for wholesale orders is free as long as the minimum order value is met, these are detailed in the link above.

  • 2 - 4 business days, allow extra days for locations outside of UK mainland.

North America: 

  • Royal Mail: 10 - 60 business days
  • Express International: 3 - 17 business days

EU: 

  • Royal Mail: 10 - 60 business days
  • Express International: 2 - 17 business days

AU & Pacific Islands::

  • Royal Mail: 10 - 60 business days
  • Express International: 3 - 17 business days

All other locations: we cannot provide delivery estimates, please get in touch and we can look into delivering to your location orders@littledifference.org.


Order Pickup

Order pick up is not available for wholesale orders.

Refunds, returns, damaged goods and exchanges

We do not accept returns on wholesale orders, unless there is damage to the ordered goods or the items delivered were in someway in error.

In the event that your order arrives damaged or with incorrect items, you must notify us in writing within 4 days from item delivery date.

This is so that we can notify our shipping and fulfilment supplier within their notice periods in time to make a claim. The best way is to email us at hello@littledifference.org with your order number and a photographs clearly showing the item’s condition or the incorrect items.

To replace or exchange incorrect items you will need to show some evidence of counting the inventory thoroughly. 

We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.
